Dr. Christian Schwarzl began his career at Virtual Vehicle Research Center in Graz. Since 2014 he is head of the Dependable Systems Group, focussing on verification and validation of autonomous vehicles, functional safety and security. In February 2019 he joined in addition the ALP.Lab GmbH, the Austrian test region for automated driving. He is an Austrian delegate for safety standards like ISO 26262 and ISO 21448.
