In his role as regional director of product management for TomTom, Evert Schaeffer is responsible for business development and partnership activities regarding the TomTom Autonomous Driving product suite in Europe.  This includes TomTom’s HD Map products, cloud-to-car HD Map service and the intake of sensor derived observations used as input for map maintenance. Prior to TomTom, Evert worked at Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting), leading product management and partnership teams for Philips Hue, an IoT connected lighting system for the home. Evert has a degree in electric engineering and in marketing
