Joseph is a functional safety certified automotive manager, electrical engineer, systems integration and processes expert with an MBA. Joe leads the safe vehicle activities across Siemens PLM including functional safety, SOTIF, and cybersecurity. These activities include engineering and consulting services in training, architecture development, process development, streamlining services, and other consulting services.
Joe continues to lead the functional safety programs for multiple Siemens Businesses. Joe developed the Mentor Safe Program which focuses on multiple functional safety activities including supporting processes, architecture, safety analysis, and training. Joe participates in the International standards organizations for ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 which develops automotive and autonomous driving safety standards.
Joe led the ISO 26262 implementation, tool integration, and reuse strategy taking theory into practice for a streamlined certified new product development process, making Freescale Semiconductor ASG (now NXP) the recognized semiconductor leader in Automotive Functional Safety.
Joseph worked in numerous industries in various strategic management roles including functional safety, engineering, and manufacturing, and senior engineer roles in leading projects, electrical design, system integration, quality, production and more. Joe is a proven resource for taking theory into practice, driving a multitude of new processes, streamlined processes, product cost reductions, and industry-leading designs.
