Venkat Goli is the Tech Lead Manager for System Functional Safety and Electrical Engineering at Pony AI. He has a background in digital, analog, and RF design both at IC level and full system level. He has a wide range of experience in optical communications, wireless communications, Power electronics, lidar, sensors, networking/security, computing, and autonomous vehicles from roles held at Intel, Maxim Integrated, Inphi, Velodyne Lidar, Zoox, and Pony AI at present.

Pony.ai aims to deliver autonomous mobility everywhere by building the safest and most reliable self-driving technology. Pony.ai is currently testing its self-driving system in multiple geographies across the U.S. and China. The company was founded in late 2016 and its investors include Sequoia Capital China, IDG Capital, Legend Capital, among others.
